Chick-fil-A's New Frozen Summer Beverage Is Truly Worth Sampling

Peach season has begun at Chick-fil-A. Since June 9, they will resume serving peach milkshakes and also introduce a new drink: the peach frosted lemonade.
This is the 16th time the Peach Milkshake is being introduced. It is a returning favorite for many, alongside the summer sun. The genesis of the mouthwatering delight is Angela Canada, a culinary wizard who derived it from her grandmother's peach ice cream. Desserts that fit this definition are an absolute must for the summertime.
Allison Duncan, Chick-fil-A's head of culinary and isle innovations, said, "There's a thing about the Peach Milkshake that just feels like the start of summer." Fans are known to mix and mash things up, adding an interesting twist to their meals: think ranch with Sriracha or doubling Polynesian sauce with barbecue sauce.
Peach isn't a new taste for summer, but how long it has stuck around says a lot. It's more than just a passing fad. The peach milkshake comes back each year as a new habit, yet the fruit has deep roots in the South that go way back.
From fair booths to diner menus, peach and cream shakes seem made for hot days and stops on long drives. Mix in lemonade, and it fits right in with today's popular drink mix trends, where a bit of citrus meets creamy or fruity bases to even things out. The two peach drinks are up for grabs this summer "while they last" at some places.
